The Evangelism Team at VPA is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by actively sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with our community and beyond.

Role and Responsibilities: The Evangelism Team serves as the frontline ambassadors of the church’s mission to reach the lost and disciple believers. Key responsibilities include:

1. Outreach Initiatives:

   • Organizing and participating in community outreach events such as street evangelism, door-to-door visits, and local fairs.
   • Hosting evangelistic campaigns, inviting individuals to hear the message of salvation.

2. Discipleship and Follow-up:

   • Providing resources and support for new believers to grow in their faith.
   • Establishing relationships with seekers and new converts through regular follow-up and discipleship meetings.

3. Prayer and Intercession:

   • Praying fervently for the salvation of souls and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit during evangelistic efforts.
   • Holding prayer meetings dedicated to specific outreach events and individuals being reached out to.

4. Training and Equipping:

   • Conducting evangelism training sessions to equip church members with effective tools and strategies for sharing their faith.
   • Providing resources, literature, and training materials to empower believers to confidently articulate the gospel.

5. Collaboration and Support:

   • Collaborating with other church ministries to integrate evangelism efforts into various church activities and events.
   • Supporting missions efforts locally and globally through financial contributions, prayer support, and sending teams.
